Cannot sign in? Request deletion by email

You can also ask for deletion without installing the app or signing in here.

1. Email aalayapp@gmail.com from the Google email used for Aalay.
2. Use the subject “Aalay account deletion request.” Do not include passwords, verification codes, identity documents or children’s personal information.
3. The publisher will verify ownership by replying to that address and confirm completion. Email requests are processed manually; ask for an expected completion date in the same email.

What is removed

Your Supabase Authentication account, basic Google profile stored with that account, and user-linked account/library records, Temple Trails submissions and experiences, reports, blocks and notifications are removed when the deletion is completed. This does not delete your Google account.

What may remain

Public temple contributions, photo credits and security/publication audit records may remain to preserve content provenance. These editorial records have no automatic expiry in the current system; ask the publisher to review any personal information in them. Aggregate usage counts contain no account identifier and cannot be traced back to delete a single person’s visits.

On your device

Bookmarks, theme, language and the coarse age-screen preference are local. Clear bookmarks/preferences from My Profile; clearing app/browser storage removes the local age preference and session data. Uninstalling alone does not delete the server account. Deleting from the app or this page is immediate; email requests remain until the publisher processes them, with no additional waiting period after ownership is confirmed.

Parents or guardians can use their own email to raise concerns about information submitted by a child. The publisher will explain how to verify the request without sending sensitive information through this page.
